The Capital District Modern Quilt Guild is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
This quilt was designed by a member of the CDMQG for our guild’s April 2022 Block of the Month Charity Challenge in response to the crisis in Ukraine. The finished quilt was donated to a local Ukrainian church to be raffled-off and raise money for refugee families.
This is a modular quilt, which means that you can make your own version by following the pattern exactly as written, or by arranging the “dove” and “sunflower” blocks in any configuration you choose. (“Dove” blocks are FPP. “Sunflower” blocks are traditionally pieced.)
The version seen in the photo to the left is 40”x60”.
The “purchase” button below will bring you to CDMQG’s PayPal account. Be sure to include your email address upon checkout. We will email the pattern in PDF format as soon as possible! A portion of this sale will be donated to continue refugee relief efforts. Thanks!
This quilt was designed by members of the CDMQG and a grayscale, twin-sized version was exhibited at QuiltCon 2019 for the "MQG Grayscale Charity Challenge". Now you can make your own lap-sized version of this quilt (and choose your own color palette)!
